Preparing For Your Appointment

Preparing For Your Appointment

We are here for your Harris County mobile notary needs. A little preparation can help ensure a smooth, efficient signing process.

Fill In The Blanks

  • Complete all blanks on your documents before your notary arrives.
  • Documents without a notary certificate cannot be notarized.

Wait To Sign

  • Please do not sign your documents until you are in the presence of your notary.

Clarify Any Questions In Advance

  • If you have questions about your documents, contact the person who drafted or requested them.
  • As notaries, we cannot provide legal advice or assist with completing documents.

Have Your ID Handy

  • You must appear in person and present valid identification (Driver's License, Passport, Military ID, or Government ID).

Get A Witness

  • If a signer cannot provide ID (e.g., an elderly person in a care facility), a witness with valid ID may be required.
  • Let us know in advance if you need a witness so we can plan accordingly.

Certify Necessary Copies

  • Original documents must be present for copy certifications.
  • Vital records (birth, death, or marriage certificates) cannot be notarized.

Additional Tips:
Before your notary or signing appointment, gather all required documents and identification. Confirm your appointment date, time, and location, and prepare a quiet, private space for the signing. Be ready to review documents and provide any needed clarification. These steps will help ensure a smooth and successful notary experience.
